Instructors
“The TAO gives me continual monitoring and the support of a world renowned martial artist to help me do the best I can for my students”
It takes an average of 8 years consistent training and practice to attain the 1st Tengchi grade, the minimum generally required for teaching.
All our Instructors are:
- Appropriately insured
- Subject to an annual review of their authorisation to teach
- Required to continue regular training with the Technical Director
- Required to declare whether they comply with Governing Body requirements
- BCCMA certificate in coaching practice, level 2
- First Aid qualification
- CRB check
For this reason, we are confident that our Instructors have an unusually high knowledge and skill base in the practice of the Arts and how to teach them and that you can trust the information given about a class will be complete.
In learning the Arts, there is no replacement for a skilled teacher who can give you individual guidance at each step along your learning journey.
